1995年7月—1998年8月，中山大学化学系，1997年晋升副教授，从事天然产物化学的研究，参与国家自然科学基金和广东省基金的课题的研究。
1998年9月—1999年2月在香港津会大学化学系作访问研究，从事有机传感器的研究。
1999年3月—2000年2月在LUND大学有机化学和生物有机化学系访问研究，从事手性催化剂配体活性天然产物全合成的研究。
2000年3月—2000年9月在中山大学化学院工作。
2000年9月—2003年1月在瑞典UPPSALA大学生物医药中心有机药物化学系作博士后研究。研究的方向是药物设计与合成；微波辅助快速反应方法学研究。
2003年2月—2013年1月，中山大学化学与化学工程学院，副教授。
2013年1月—现在，中山大学化学与化学工程学院教授。
